Homestay Review – Tam Family Homestay, Walking Distance To Hue Imperial Citadel

After a night’s rest at Da Nang, we travelled north-west via train to our next destination, the city of Hue.  Just a short introduction, Hue is a city of central Vietnam which was the capital of Dang Trong from 1738 to 1755 and of the Nguyen Dynasty from 1802 to 1945. It is a small town rich in culture and history where you could explore royal palaces and tombs of great Vietnamese emperors.

It was already nightfall by the time our Grab arrived at Kon Tiki Da Nang Hostel, our lodging place for the very first night in Vietnam! This was my second time travelling to Vietnam, yet the first time departing from Da Nang Airport. For this trip, we mainly stayed in hostel and homestays due to their very affordable pricing. Hotel Review – Carlton City Hotel Singapore

As Singapore has lifted its Circuit Breaker measures and has progressed into post circuit breaker phrase 2, locals will once again be able to enjoy hotel staycations. Let me just reminisce the time I enjoyed my staycation at Carlton City Hotel Singapore last year.

Situated within the business district of Tanjong Pagar, Carlton City Hotel Singapore is pretty much accessible since the train station is less than 10 mins walk away and has a 100am shopping mall and many other dining options within its vicinity.

Hotel Review – Hotel Ibis Dusseldorf Hauptbahnhof

Hotel Ibis Dusseldorf Hauptbahnhof will be my last hotel review for this entire Germany-France trip which I am already missing so much, especially the gothic cathedrals and beautiful architectures.

As it was finally the last night remaining in Dusseldorf and we had to take the train or should I say metro, to the airport the following morning, we naturally picked Hotel Ibis Dusseldorf Hauptbahnhof to stay in. Hotel Review – Inter Hotel Le Bristol, Strasbourg, France

Day 3 of our trip and we arrived at Gare de Strasbourg (station) from Frankfurt via train. It was close to nightfall as we walked over to our hotel at Inter Hotel Le Bristol to check in. I was quite amaze to spot many other hotels along the stretch across Strasbourg Station where Inter Hotel Le Bristol was sandwiched somewhere in between.
